Highland Valley Post-Burn Restoration Team Leadership

March 29th, 2025
Highland Valley Trailhead

Golden Eagle Audubon Society is starting a restoration project at the Boise River Wildlife Management Area in South East Boise, where nearly 10,000 acres were burned in the Valley Fire last fall.

On 3/29 we are hosting volunteers from the National League of Young Men, a group of teen boys and their mothers.  We are looking for people to help with supplies, set up, and provide basic supervision to small teams of the volunteers as they plant native seedlings, weed, pick up litter, and spread seed in the post-burn area.

Skills needed are basic people management; experience with native seedling planting is helpful! You need to be able to walk uphill and help carry planting supplies. Age 18 and up.

There are no shifts available at this time.
